What is Old Bay Marina Events?

Old Bay Marina Events is a mother-daughter-owned waterfront event venue located on a private 3-acre marina property in Edgemere, Maryland overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.

What types of events do you host?

Our venue is perfect for micro weddings, vow renewals, engagement parties, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, retirement celebrations, birthday parties, family reunions, corporate gatherings, celebrations of life, church gatherings, and other private events.

How many guests can the pavilion accommodate?

Our waterfront pavilion comfortably accommodates up to 50 guests.

Where is the venue located?

We are located in Edgemere, Maryland, just outside of Baltimore on the Chesapeake Bay.

What is included with the pavilion rental?

The pavilion rental includes exclusive use of the waterfront pavilion, access to electricity, access to water, beautiful Chesapeake Bay views, and use of the surrounding event area during your rental period.

What is the rental price?

Our current introductory pricing is $300 for a 3-hour pavilion rental. Pricing is subject to change as the venue continues to grow and expand.

Do you offer wedding packages?

At this time, we offer venue-only rentals, allowing couples and event hosts the flexibility to create an event that fits their vision and budget.

Can I bring my own vendors?

Yes! One of our biggest advantages is flexibility. You're welcome to bring your own caterer, photographer, florist, decorator, DJ, baker, planner, and other vendors.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, beverages, and catering services.

Is alcohol permitted?

Alcohol policies may vary depending on the event. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific event plans.

Are DJs and music allowed?

Yes! DJs, musicians, and speakers are welcome.

Are decorations allowed?

Absolutely. We encourage guests to personalize the space for their event.

Are balloons allowed?

Yes, balloons are permitted. Please just clean them up after use to help protect our waterfront environment. 

Is confetti allowed?

Only eco-friendly confetti is permitted to help protect our waterfront environment.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

The pavilion is a covered outdoor venue. At this time, we do not have an indoor event space available.

Is the pavilion waterfront?

Yes! The pavilion sits on a private marina property overlooking the Chesapeake Bay with beautiful waterfront views and passing boats.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available for event guests.

Can we take engagement, wedding, or family photos at the venue?

Absolutely. The marina, waterfront, sunsets, and Chesapeake Bay backdrop create beautiful photo opportunities.

Can we schedule a tour?

Yes! We would be happy to schedule a tour. Please contact us to arrange a visit.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for popular spring, summer, and fall dates.

In addition to our waterfront pavilion, we also have a larger waterfront lawn area that may accommodate larger tented events. Contact us to discuss your vision and guest count.
